The Yellow Air Taxi flew us from Fort Lauderdale to Marsh Harbor in the Abacos It seated ten people and they sat the heavy people at the front of the plane; the first plane had mechanical problems and we had to de-board and wait 5 hours until a new plane arrived We finally found a functioning plane and made it in the air; here's Fort Lauderdale beach - you can even make out Beach Place Grand Bahama On the way to Marsh Harbor, we stopped at Treasure Cay. After arriving in Marsh Harbor, we ate lunch with Yasmine and her boyfriend who helped us transport the 80-pound box of wood we were lugging to Hope Town for Mike's dad. On the flight from Treasure Cay to Marsh Harbor, I took the pilot seat Mike's parents house on Elbow Cay: Captain's Quarters The back of Captain's Quarters Unfortunately the pool was not yet done Captain's Quarters dock and the dinghy; unfortunately no sailboat Mike and I in a heated game of ring toss For dinner we headed to Harbor's Edge Get a room! The next day we drove the cart around Elbow Cay and enjoyed the beach at the south end of the island Mike and I ran from Captain's Quarters to Vernon's to pick up some of their famous bread; this beach is just east of Vernon's. Relaxing back at home They had Top Gun on DVD at the house The next day we took the dinghy to the famouns Hope Town lighthouse and then to Great Guana Cay and Nippers It was just about the bumpiest worst ride ever; the girls were not happy despite the pic From atop the lighthouse They had a pig roast at Nippers It was Easter Sunday so there was an egg hunt; eggs were buried in the sand and placed in the water
