FPL estimates that some customers will be without power for a month Both fences blew down during the storm The 2005 season was the most active hurricane season in recorded history (since 1851) The strong winds streaked across the lake in our backyard The eerie sky accompanied the eerie whistling of the hurricane Water was kicked up in the distance We tapped off our neighbors generator after the storm to keep our refridgerator running The rain started coming down turning the sky white The news said Wilma would be a "wind event" not a "rain event" Byron taking video of the hurricane Sam enjoying the hurricane Almost all screened-in porches were torn apart A shingle dangling from the roof We lost power at about 6:30am Monday for about 2 days. Most lost power for a week, an unfortunate few for a month. More rain
