I had never gone to visit Arnie and Ali in AZ, so now was the perfect opportunity The northern part of Tucson Ali picked me up from the airport since Arnie was working, he was flyiing in from L.A. an hour after me Every day was like this: perfect, beautiful weather Saguaro National Park on our way to the Sonora Desert Museum west of Tucson The harsh-looking cactuses have cool names like "shin dagger" The gray wolf The Joshua Tree A tarantula hawk wasp, so named because they capture and paralyze tarantulas The giant saguaro (pronounced "sah-wah-roh") The Palo Verde tree Javelina The coyote, much smaller than I thought - it´s only about 20-25 pounds This bird was only playing dead to distract us from its nest Hummingbird nest with Ali´s finger as a reference for how small it is Sook flew in a day and a half later and Ali made her a cake for her birthday Sky´s pool The fire pit The view from Arnie´s backyard Sky At a vineyard A weird desert plant that caught our attention Another desert flower The desert sunset Heading up into the mountains The trees and plants were completely different up in the mountains And it was a lot colder in the mountains - the girls are drinking hot cider Watching an aminal during our hike in the mountains Taking a break Dinner at a mexican restaurant in downtown Tucson
